Pet CPR and First Aid Classes in Jacksonville

 

Florida Training Academy's Pet CPR and First Aid class teaches Animal First Aid & CPR and much more. Students are taught safety and prevention tips, caring for senior pets, dental hygiene, animal assessments, etc. Students leave class with a certificate of completion that is valid for 2-years. Classes are offered year-round. All classes are taught in our main Jacksonville office. 

 

The $75 Pet CPR and First Aid class includes student materials and, upon successful completion, each participant will receive a certification of completion.  

Some of the topics highlighted in the 3-hour program include the following:

  • Restraining Your Pet

  • Pet CPR

  • Rescue Breathing

  • Choking Management

  • Wellness Assessment

  • Heat Injuries

  • Poisoning

  • Bleeding Protocols

  • Bites and Stings

  • Injury Assessment

 

**We love pets too. However, pets are not allowed to attend class.**

Students may bring a bagged lunch and beverages to class.
