The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)  covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation. For healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, and respiratory therapists who must have a credential(card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course. This would also include nursing students, EMT students and anyone that is interested in working in the healthcare industry. The BLS class is also intended for federal agents, police officers and first responders.

 

Important: To purchase a BLS eBook, please continue with registration. If the ebooks are in stock, your access code for the BLS  eBook will be automatically assigned to you. If the BLS eBooks are out of stock, please allow 24 business hours for the code to be emailed to you.

 

Note: E-books can be used before, after and during your BLS full/update class, and can also be used during your multiple choice examination. Your AHA BLS e-book can be accessed from your smartphone, tablet or computer. Please purchase your BLS eBook during class registration. Students cannot purchase eBooks during class. Also, all smart devices (phones, tablets, etc.) must be kept on the desk and in full view of the instructor during the multiple choice examination.
